Master Terry Brule is the head instructor of the Napa Taekwondo Academy. He began his study of the martial arts in 1990 under Mr. Phillip Fontaine, as well as receiving certification from Grandmaster Soo W. Lee (founder of Taekwondo in Napa). In June of 2003, Mr. Brule tested for 4th degree Black belt under his present instructor: Master Robert Zambetti, Professor, Cal State University, Hayward. Mr. Brule received his 5th Degree Black belt in February of 2009.
Master Brule began teaching the Napa Tae Kwon Do Program in 1993. He holds Kukkiwon Rank Certification with the World Taekwondo Headquarters located in Seoul, Korea. Mr. Brule is a Certified Referee in Olympic Taekwondo competition, and has served as the Northern California membership Vice President for the United Taekwondo Fellowship.
Mr. Brule is a 1980 graduate of the Napa Valley school system and holds a diploma from the Phoenix Institute of Technology.
