The next Belt Promotions are scheduled for:
January 27th, 2007 (Teen/Adult)
March 3, 2007 (Youth)
This first belt level a student will test for is Yellow belt. This belt, as well as Stripe testings below the rank of Blue belt, are conducted in class. Upon meeting all of their requirements for Green belt, students are given the opportunity to participate in special Belt Promotion days to test for higher belt rank levels.
These testings are held approximately 5 times per year, with a $25 testing fee covering the cost of belts and materials. There is no fee for stripe testings.
PRE-TEST WEEK
For all eligible students to review and demonstrate their required material for their Belt testing on the following week. Forms and traditional technique will be evaluated during the first part of the week, with self-defense and their remaining material evaluated during the latter half of the week.
