When I first started Taekwondo I thought it would be like Power Rangers and ninja movies, but now I know what Taekwondo is. When I first learned about Taekwondo, it wasn't that important to me but now that I know a lot more, it's more important to me. I may have to work hard but I have fun also.
Taekwondo means a lot to me. Taekwondo means being a responsible person, taking responsibility for my actions. It also means that people can count on me and they can trust me to not start a fight and to break up fights. It also means that I can believe in myself and can go places without being scared, because I know how to defend myself. What I mean by defending myself is that if someone tries to attack me I know how to protect myself. It also means to be a leader. I can be a leader by being kind to everyone and everything. Taekwondo means a lot to me and I have a lot of fun doing it.
When you are a black you are at a really high rank and other kids look up to you. a black belt is extremely important to me and fun because I will get to be a leader and help people when they need help, by helping them up or taking them to the office. When you are a black belt you get more respect than you used to when you were a lower belt. What it also means is that you have to work harder if you want to get treated like a black belt. But I know that when you are a black belt you should not brag about your accomplishments.
I have learned a lot in Taekwondo and a lot of it is important and useful. I have learned a lot of many different kinds of kicks. I have also learned many different kinds of punches. When you put them all together you form a lot of techniques. In Taekwondo you learn forms that will help you when you need it. For example, blocking. It would help you because it would be harder for the other person to punch you. When you are in Taekwondo you need to respect others and not to expect your instructor to teach you how to beat up other kids.
I have gone to many tournaments. It's a lot of fun. Sometimes I win, and sometimes I don't. Over the years I've noticed a lot of people are really good. I've learned that you need to be a good sport if you lose or if you win. I go there because I want to learn and I want to have a good time, and maybe sometimes I would like to win. I have a lot of fun going to tournaments.
Taekwondo is a lot fo fun and it's a lot of hard work. When you play games in Taekwondo if you WIN or not you need to be a good sport about it. When you do self-defense in class you never throw some one down really hard. You always put them down easy. There is no contact with punching or kicking to anyone. I have enjoyed each level of my training and looking forward to becoming a Junior Black Belt.
The End

When I first started Tae Kwon Do I thought I wasn't very good. My Mom and dad told me that I have only started and that I would get better at it. From then on I just kept on trying hard, until I got better. Since then I have achieved a lot and I keep on trying. At tournaments I try to relax and I let them do all the mistakes that is how I sometimes get high points.
Tae Kwon Do means a lot to me. Tae Kwon Do means that I will be expected to make good choices. People will not expect me to get into more fights, but instead to get into less. I will be expected to have better self-control and self-discipline. I also will be expected to have courtesy, integrity and dignity.
A Black Belt means a lot to me. A Black Belt means that I have achieved in four and a half years. I will have reached my goals and I will need to make more goals. A Black Belt means that I will be expected to set an example for my fellow students. Also I will be expected to be at class on time, not goof off and be respectful to everyone.
I have learned a lot in Tae Kwon Do. I have learned that a reputation can really affect your future. For example if you get into a fight and you get into fights a lot and always start them but this time you didn't start it someone will think that you did because you have a bad reputation. I have learned that you have to think and use your mouth before you use your Tae Kwon Do. Another thing that I learned is that you have to have trust in someone for them to be your friend.
I have been to a lot of tournaments. I have met a lot of nice people and they have been nice to me. I always go back and have fun. Besides going to have fun, I have a chance to compete against new competitors and to have good sportsmanship, regardless of whether I win or lose. I always try to do my best and not give up. When I do my best I feel proud.
I have a lot of fun and I learn a lot in Tae Kwon Do. Tae Kwon Do is one of my best hobbies. I enjoy going to Tae Kwon Do and learning.
